Juneathon – Days 13, 14, 15 & 16
So the weekend was lovely – in the country with Ma & Pa, Sun, Wine, Laugher and plenty of rest.
But I didn’t lose the Juneathon bug and managed some, although not necessarily usual, forms of exersize. Here’s a quick recap…
Day 13 – Walked around a garden centre, bought a few plants, visited a local fare, helped take down a giant tent, moved lots of boxes of Christmas Decorations (yes, in the middle of June!) and ‘mooched’. Probably not standard Juneathon activited, but none the less, knackering!
Day 14 – Did some gardening, helped clear the guttering, moved ladders, more gardening, and some sunbathing. Well, it was Sunday!
Day 15 – Back to work, so more walking around. I didn’t measure my walk, but probably an hour in total… but it was in small sessions.
Day 16 – Finally took my lovely bike in for it’s MOT. Sadly the cover that was supposedly waterproof, wasn’t, so the saddle was very soggy (it’s got a sponge filling) so had to walk the bike! Did 30mins speedy walk at lunch time (to John Lewis and back!) Came home flopped in front of the telly.
So, officially, I’ve probably failed in the Juneathon tasks, as I haven’t done any plodding or proper planned exercise, but I’m keeping active, which is more than I used to do. Anyway, hopefully the plodding will return soon…
Till the next time…

Excellent! That sounds like a fab weekend. I was getting all gloomy that I’d only walked a couple of miles yesterday, but then realised that if it hadn’t been for Juneathon I would have done nothing. My new attitude is, if I’ve been more active than I would have been normally then that’s ok!
