Juneathon – Day 3

I really am not a morning person, as proven by Day 1 & 2 of Juneathon.  However today I did finally manage to push myself out of bed to attempt a plod before work.  Can’t say it was the best plod ever, but the fact that there was a gentle breeze, and that the dustbin men all said good morning to me as I lolloped past meant that it wasn’t quite as horrid as I had expected.

One thing I did notice was the amount of other people out there also plodding around…  I’ve usually done my plods late morning or after work, so this all came as a bit of a surprise.  Who knew there were so many other unfit plodders out there just like me?!  I felt like I was with ‘my’ people.  Oh, and Ninja Warrior Man was in the park too – haven’t seen him for ages!

All in all, a good plod.  Total distance – 3.55km  Time – 30.46  Walk / Plod Ratio – 5 walk, 10 plod, 3 walk, 10 plod, 2 walk.

  1. Well done on getting day 3 done early! I wish I’d had the motivation to get up and out there this morning!

  2. Great! I’m intrigued by Warrior Ninja Man…

  3. Ah, Ninja Warrior Man… he’s somewhat of a tourist attraction in the local park. Hours and hours he spends doing his ninja moves, day after day. I’m too scared to go up to him and ask him what he’s really doing!

  4. Well done for getting up early, I think I’ve only ever managed twice to run before work.

  5. Well done on getting up early and managed to exercise. I forgot what the outside world looks like before 0900!!

  6. Yay you! It sounds like you’re doing brilliantly to come back after the back snapping incident.

  7. Well done on the early start. We want photos of Ninja Warrior Man, though…
